By accessing or using AceDriveGo (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
AceDriveGo is an independent, third-party study tool designed to help users prepare for the California DMV written knowledge test. The Service provides practice questions, study materials, mock exams, crash courses, and interactive road test preparation modules.
3. Not an Official DMV Product
IMPORTANT: AceDriveGo is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or any government agency.
All content is independently created based on publicly available information, including the California Driver Handbook. While we strive for accuracy, our content may not reflect the most recent changes to California traffic law. Always refer to the official California Driver Handbook and DMV website (dmv.ca.gov) for the most current information.
4. No Guarantee of Results
Using AceDriveGo does not guarantee that you will pass the California DMV written test or road test. Exam results depend on many factors including the current exam questions, your individual preparation, and official DMV testing procedures. Our practice questions are original content created for study purposes and are NOT actual DMV exam questions.
5. User Accounts
Some features require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Guest users may access limited features without an account, but progress will not be saved across sessions.
6. Intellectual Property
All original content on this platform, including practice questions, explanations, translations, user interface design, illustrations, and content structure, is the intellectual property of AceDriveGo and is protected by copyright law.
You may NOT:
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content
- Use our content for commercial purposes without written permission
- Create derivative works based on our content
- Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the Service
Traffic signs and road markings displayed in the Service are standardized designs from the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and are in the public domain.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent access restrictions
- Misrepresent your affiliation or identity
8. Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACEDRIVEGO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: FAILURE TO PASS A DMV EXAM, LOSS OF DATA, OR INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE.
9. Free & Paid Features
The Service currently offers free access during the beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid features, subscriptions, or change the scope of free features in the future. If we introduce paid features, existing free users will be notified in advance, and changes will not affect features that were explicitly promised as permanently free.
10. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
